Bohemian Carolina Maternity: Liz + Aaron

Liz and Aaron recently had their son Ember, and they are so full of joy with their new blessing. We photographed their maternity session only six days before Ember entered the world, and I am so glad we were able to fit it in before his arrival. When I showed up for the session at the Carolina Beach State Park, a new favorite of mine, I was blown away by these two. I love their look, and I just knew they would be so much fun to photograph. I ended up with wayyyyy to many photos that I loved, so narrowing down was pretty difficult. Liz and Aaron are naturally shy, but we shared laughs and the two of them had many sweet moments. It wasn’t until after the shoot that I found out they are high school sweethearts. How cute is that! The floral headpiece Liz is wearing was made by the talented Kristy Holt of Eco Chic Blossoms. I think it added the perfect pop of color to the photos, and helped complete the overall look. I love the bohemian feel of the shoot, and I think it shows their personalities.
