Created by Melissa, of Melissa Hines Photography, Cities in Color was created to push each other creatively, through finding colors in our local cities.

A note from Melissa:

“A year ago, I created Cities in Color. I wanted to give myself a reason to grow as a street photographer, grow in my use of color, and most importantly to fall even more in love with this city I get to call home. I pitched this idea to fellow photographers and have constantly been in awe of those of you who have joined in every month! You all have inspired me more than you could ever know! I have had so much fun on this journey with you all this past year. I am sad to say, though, that this specific project is coming to an end and September was our last month. I hope you all continue to be inspired by where you live and by color, and I really hope you all continue to shoot street photography! I want to thank each and every one of you for joining in with me this past year.”
