Cities in Color: White
Created by Melissa, of Melissa Hines Photography, Cities in Color was created to push each other creatively, through finding colors in our local cities. In each of the bi-monthly publications I will choose three images to share, along with a short story from the artists explaining their vision. Along with the top three images, I will highlight a variety of other images from the month. Melissa then will pick her favorite 10 images, with the top three image’s stories. The community chose the color white for the month of January and it was the best month yet! February’s color is purple.
Melissa has chose her top images and they are as followed:

“I had heard about the Stuttgart city library prior to moving here, but as I entered the balcony overlooking it, it literally took my breath away. The design is a photographer’s and neat freak’s dream! The lines, symmetry and pops of book color are absolute perfection together! I could sit in there all day.”
2ND PLACE:

“I took this shot because having coffee with friends is so quintessentially Parisian.”
3RD PLACE:

“I captured this image while on a day trip to the city of Sydney. It was at the Queen Victoria Building which is a historic building and tourist attraction. It is filled with upmarket shops and we enjoyed some window shopping. The girls and I explored, and this is the entrance to the bathroom. My daughter was waiting for her sister and I saw all of the white. I loved the brightness and the window light. I never thought a bathroom could look so pretty.”
