Colorado Nature Park Film Engagement Session’s Story from Megan:

“Keyna is a girl from Uganda, Africa and Aaron is a boy from small town Iowa. They met in college, became friends which lead into a whirlwind romance. Through the ups and downs they stuck together through the years, each encouraging and motivating each other to keep pushing forward in life. Eventually Aaron moved to Colorado from Iowa to achieve his Masters and Keyna picked up the life she had made for herself and went with him. Over the next couple years Denver, Colorado became home and they enjoyed spending their time in the mountains together. They will be getting married next July in Uganda in a traditional African Ceremony, and again the following week, a Catholic ceremony will take place. Aaron decided on Estes Park, Colorado for their engagement session because it happens to be one of their favorite places. The entire session was shot on medium format film.”

Artist Biography: Lemon Twist Images is a Chicago (Schaumburg) based destination wedding photography – sometimes children’s photography – studio specializing in fine art photography. As part of Megan’s workflow she is known as a hybrid photographer shooting both digital, when it’s necessary, and old school medium format film photography for a one of a kind, unique and whimsical look. LTI has been established since 2012 but as a photographer Megan has been shooting weddings professionally for 9 years. LTI was established when Megan’s son was born and he is her inspiration – the one who keeps Megan on her toes both creatively and physically. Without her son, Lemon Twist Images wouldn’t be what it is today.
