The Story:
“We wanted to put together inspiration for our edgy and ultra modern brides out there. We selected the Conservatory of Flowers as the perfect backdrop – loads of incredibly lush greenery, cement tiled floors, and perfect greenhouse windows to let in natural light. Instead of going with a bright tropical feel, we wanted to bring an edgy tropical aesthetic to this inspiration shoot.”
“Our bride was styled with pulled back hair, defined brows, and incredible deep lips, giving her an upscale modern and sleek look. The beading on her Sarah Seven dress and crepe skirt provided the perfect amount of interest and detailing to go with her fashion forward look, and is reminiscent of the architectural exterior of the Conservatory of Flowers. Our groom is wearing a stylish black and white look from The Black Tux to match his bride. Her breathtaking and over-sized bouquet, created by The Floral Times, featured immense texture with palm leaves and ferns, reflective of the exhibits in the Conservatory and leaving us with an ultra contemporary vibe. Sticking with a basic color palette of white, black and greenery, we wanted the bride and groom to be the centerpiece. The invitations featured an ultra modern look with a tropical leaf underneath etched acrylic.” – Morgan, Planner and Designer
