Family Adventure in Colorado’s Story from Brittny:
“This mother is a fellow photographer and is just gorgeous! I adore her whole family’s style and how they love and laugh so easily with one another; so when she inquired about a shoot I was 100% stoked! She wanted something different, outdoorsy, but modern, not typical or rustic…The Paint Mines. I have been wanting to hike around this beautiful area near my home with a family forever! They were all in!
We arrived at the Mines about an hour and a half before sunset and began our ascent into the canyon…maybe I only fell a couple times! We stopped along the way to admire the beauty of this natural phenomenon and set up a pose here and there. They loved the park and were no wimps about trudging through the mud and climbing on the white, pink and purple clay-like rocks to get the shots!
We hiked back up and the sun was just too good to leave so we captured a few last frames once back at the top. I am a mother of three boys so I have a special place in my heart for harvesting the crazy that is boyhood! And this little handsome boy delivered – he was so much fun to photograph. Watching these two love on their guy had me rushing home across the prairie to love on mine.”
