The Story:
“I simply admire this beautiful little family. Keana and her family are from Hawaii and as a co-photographer, we immediately related. While I visited Kauai with my husband for the first time she was kind enough to take our photographs at sunset along the Napali Coast. I was happy to return the favor when she was in San Diego with her husband and little ones. Keana knows the area well and she wanted something with hillsides and fields, so naturally the countryside of Julian was the perfect location. What I loved most about the session, besides that Keana understood everything I was saying about lighting, was her effortlessness with the kids. It reminded me of when I was a child. They giggled. They got their feet dirty. And it was all so beautiful.”
