Historic North Carolina Engagement: Laura Beth + Will’s Story from Christina:
“When Laura Beth contacted me about her wedding this October at Mulberry Hill Inn in beautiful Edenton, NC, I was really excited! I love historic homes and inns – as they have so much history and if they could talk, they would have so many wonderful stories to tell. I absolutely loved that Laura Beth and Will wanted to have their engagement session there but it’s such a PERFECT venue for photographs.
I had the BEST time walking around Mulberry Hill and finding all these wonderful places to take pictures. While walking we talked about Laura Beth’s graduation and new job, their love for crossfit and what they were envisioning for their wedding. Everything was just perfect. Everyone was having so much fun and laughing. It just felt so easy working with Laura Beth & Will! This is why I can’t recommend having an engagement session enough! It’s really such a great opportunity for my couples to meet me so that we are totally comfortable with one another!
For the second part of our session we traveled to the downtown waterfront area of Edenton for some beautiful sunset pictures. If you haven’t been there and your traveling through, you should stop. It’s so rich with history, filled with some of the most beautiful historic homes, and there are several AMAZING bed & breakfasts to visit! You can walk the waterfront, which is often filled with sailboats visiting from all over the world. I love seeing all the different boats which provide so much color, texture and amazing lines. Everything photographers love!”
