As a photographer, Emily Bartley, owner of Emily Bartley Photographer, loves life and all it’s craziness, laughter and emotions that come with it! She is very passionate about documenting the true and loving memories of her family and clients. This image, “My Little Lady, Hailey Lou” was captured by Emily just playing with her children and interacting with them. She feels this is the only way to get the images that she hopes for. The light that comes in her kitchen and patio door is so beautiful at sunset that Emily must take advantage of it. The sun flare that she was able to capture here gave the look of fairy wings, so that was just the “icing on the cake” for Emily!
“This year I just let my photography lead me into what I think is more organic versus thinking will they like this or doing what’s popular. That was a huge hurtle to get over because I’m a people pleaser but I don’t want to look back and say man I wish I would have done it differently. I just want to get the little details and every emotion that I can when I photograph.”
