I am a wedding/family photographer with my sweet husband. We are incredibly privileged to live in Texas and to capture images of people in love.
This session was incredibly special to me. This family joined the army to travel to beautiful places and cruel fate sent them to Killeen Texas for 3 years. Right before they left, they decided they wanted to document their time here. When we met each other at a coffee shop, they told me about their story. They met in Germany at school. When they came back to the states, they had one weekend together at her parents house. As he was driving away…they both knew. Four weeks from this session date they were facing Thomas’s deployment to Egypt. This session wasn’t just about photos for the three of them, it was about making a memory they could hold onto for the next 10 months.
