King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
Romantic. Simple. Elegant. This inspiration shoot showcases the simplicity and beauty of a country chic wedding. Our goal was to create a beautiful and intimate setting, one that real brides and grooms would want for their own wedding. A gorgeous field behind a stone homestead in Valley Forge, PA was the setting for this shoot. The table was set under the branches of a large tree, front row to a beautiful sun setting behind the mountains.
The vision of this shoot was a collaborative effort between Kate Hubler of Kate Hubler Photography and Christine Bowen, who modeled with her husband, Brad. The inspiration was burlap and lace; a mix of country, class, and elegance. Soft pinks, golds, and a touch of glitter accented the burlap and lace details (with a touch of mint showcased in the bride’s shoes). Heather Potter, of Cottage Flowers Floral Design, created beautiful floral designs with a combination of roses, ranunculus, scabiosa, lysimachia, acacia, queen anne’s lace, and dahlias. The florals blended the soft and romantic feel of the theme and setting.
The wedding gown, an altered Tara Keely provided by Christine Bowen, was the perfect mix of elegance and beauty. The country chic theme was woven throughout all the details, from the beautiful floral designs, romantic stationery designs by Christine, soft pink table linen and burlap runner, candlesticks accents, and the touch of gold in the candle holders and plates. The place settings were tied together perfectly by the floral china, provided by the model’s grandmother. It was a gorgeously intimate and beautiful scene: a stunningly set table in the middle of a meadow at sunset, a beautiful bride and her groom, and the relaxed intimacy that they shared… a wedding setting that one dreams of.
