My name is Erin Neace, I am the owner + photographer of Lux Senior Photography in Dayton, Ohio. I am a boutique senior portrait photographer, and I have been shooting seniors exclusively for 2 years. I have recently added Medium Format Film sessions to my offerings, and hope to one day shoot exclusively film.
This session was a styled shoot that I had been envisioning for the last year. I wanted to do a Snow White themed shoot, but the way I would portray Snow White would be more elegant than the Disney version… I called it “The Fairest of Them All”. The model is one of my 2015 Senior Models – the moment I saw her picture on Instagram I knew she’d make a great Snow White! I envisioned my Snow White as having an ivory wardrobe, befitting of her name, a gaudy pearl ring (fit for a princess) and living in a cold climate, she would naturally wear boots and a luxurious fur infinity scarf. The red pops of color went perfectly with the ivory and black…. I took lots of time to find the perfect red lip color! It’s Stila Liquid Lipcolor in Beso, from Sephora.
My good friend Beth Bevelhymer of Beth Bevelhymer Photography assisted me on the shoot.
