Most of these friends are photographers or designers and fall is the very busiest season of the year for all of us. Where the days are long, nobody has time to talk to each other – let alone actually meet-up – most of us resembling zombies. Knowing that was coming, this summer we decided to block off the week end before Thanksgiving to all get together at a house on Madeline Island. We put down our phones, computers and just enjoy life together.

Side bar: I’ve been trading my digital camera for film more and more frequently and loving. every. second. of. it! These are all un-edited film scans and for the film nerds (and for my own memory), the 35mm is Portra 400 and the Holga 120 shots are Portra 160.
