The Story:
“Audrey is a high school senior who keeps herself really busy. She is captain of her dance team, travels to international destinations with her family, and she coaches children’s gymnastics. Audrey dreams of working biology and may pursue a pre-medical track.
When Audrey contacted me about wanting a senior session, all she knew was she wanted a few photos with nature; woods or greenery sufficed. I’ve always wanted to shoot a senior session at the Minnesota State Fair, one of the busiest areas to be in the entire state during summer. Audrey said she was up for the idea and was pumped to try something different.
The session took place during golden hour and it was a dream. Audrey’s cheeky warm smile and relaxed personality were a beautiful combination with the colorful chaos that surrounded her at the fair. The golden light enveloped her, and I was so proud of her for being comfortable with allowing herself to essentially allow herself drown in a sea of strangers. Audrey is an adorably shy girl, so I know this was out of her comfort zone. It was a gem of a session.
Of course, we treated ourselves to the famous Martha’s Cookies and fried candy bars during our session together.”
