My Job & Instagram Inspiration

It is a beautiful morning here in Ohio and as I am scrolling through Instagram I was so inspired I wanted to share some of my favorites with you. Before I show the pictures & artists I want to share a story with you. Yesterday I took a personal day. Every year I go to these particular set of garage sales. I take the day to go with my parents and we just walk from sale to sale, enjoying each other and the deals. Normally I know when these garage sales are coming but this year I forgot to find them till about the week prior. I realized that I had to have all my work done prior to taking the day off because the blog doesn’t stop just because I want to enjoy my day. I was up till 2 am on Thursday and had to be up at 6:30 am on Friday to get everyone up and moving. I was exhausted but I knew it would be worth it. I also released the winning artists for The Best of the Business so I knew I would have to be available on my day “off” to answer emails and respond to people.

Now I know you might be wondering where I am heading with this and I promise I am getting there. My point is I love what I do. I loved responding to people and congratulating them on a huge success in their business. Not because they “made” my list but because they have worked so hard to get their businesses full of not just amazing pictures but a great business structure. I love my job because I get to put a smile on people’s faces and fill their hearts just a bit more. And at the end of the day when my legs and feet were throbbing from all the walking (and wearing bad garage sale’n shoes!) I wanted nothing more than to catch up on work.

I hear people complain all the time and constantly waiting for their next vacation. While I love a break just as much as the next person, this job is IN me. That is how I push forward. Do the job that most would need ten people to pull off successfully. I enjoy doing my job because YOU are here for me to do my job. I urge you to take a look at your job and evaluate if you have that kind of enjoyment. Are you constantly looking for your “out?” If so maybe it is time to find your enjoyment.
