The Story:

“After my first email exchange with my new client, I came away thinking that I had found my perfect client, or rather she had found me. Though she booked a mini session, she was wanted the less posed, real, natural moments captured, and she wanted to document her baby wearing and breastfeeding her youngest, as this would soon be a thing of the past. Right from the start the session took shape in a real and natural way. I was documenting their family for who they were at this time in their lives. It was not all smiles and laughs. There were some tears, there was some dancing, there was lots of not listening, and there was lots of comforting. And it was all real. It represented them, and I was in love with the motion of it all. It was the end of the day, the kids were tired, but such troopers, the light was magical, and the family was beautifully themselves. And the end result is magic.”

Artist Biography: Keetch Miller, of Keetch Miller Photography, is a Brooklyn based lifestyle photographer for families, kids, and babies. With two kids of her own, she knows how chaotic family life can be and how hard it is to see the beauty of it all when you’re knee deep in it. Keetch loves to travel with her husband and two daughters, and in the summer months can be found swimming in the cold Atlantic up in Maine.
