Rainy Ohio Farmhouse Maternity: Sarah + Joe’s Story

“The rain drops started falling just as Sarah was finishing up her hair appointment at the salon. Nothing like perfect timing! We were planning on beginning our photoshoot early, in an attempt to beat the unpredictable Ohio rain, but the rain still beat us. So you know what we did? We rolled with it because sometimes that’s all you can do. The longer I do portrait photography, the more I realize that un-ideal situations occur, and you just have to learn to make the most of it – rain or shine! Luckily Sarah and Joe were up for anything and trusted me as their maternity photographer. I am so glad we powered through some rain because the resulting images are some of my favorites ever. Sarah is one gorgeous mother to be, and she and Joe are an awesome pair! They just have the best personalities and are so excited to meet their baby girl! And get ready for her name…Isabella Sofia! How pretty is that? Even though we were hoping to have a sunny evening for this maternity session, I just love how romantic and dreamy these rainy portraits turned out.”
