My name is Sara and I am a photographer located in a small town in the northwoods of Wisconsin (soon to be moving to the Netherlands!!). I enjoy photographing the interactions of love – be it siblings, families, mothers & children, or couples. This engagement session was a special couple that found me through my sister; they all live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN area. This couple traveled 4 hours to get their photographs taken in our beautiful northwoods setting!! This session took a little more planning than my usual sessions because we integrated a segment at our small town’s baseball field so that we could work in Dan & Ashley’s love of the Minnesota Twins, while keeping with the small town/northwoods feel of the session. The light during our session was perfect, and we were able to capture some beautiful images at the baseball field and also at some of my favorite spots in my area. Ashley also wanted to capture some images in the lake (which at the time was very cold so I was in waders in the lake with my camera!). We captured those images right before the sun set!
