“At first glance to this portrait you might see just another beach picture; but that’s isn’t just what I see. When I look I see a mother heading back to the house after a long afternoon at the beach. The littlest son pouting his way behind everyone, not wanting to head back in. The clouds developing into an afternoon storm. While the wind is blowing against them, the mother tilting her head down for shelter. What I think I love the most, is the composition that was taken. If the shot hadn’t been taken from lower, it might not have had the same feel.”
