Beyond the Wanderlust would love to feature a current session that you feel would fit the style + inspiration given on a daily basis to readers. The blog is currently exclusive, meaning please only submit work that you haven’t submitted to other blogs or have had featured elsewhere. If there is a session you feel that you must show, please make this known upfront where else it has been published and on what date. If you fail to give noticed that your session was featured elsewhere, this will result in not being accepted again for future submissions as well.
Guidelines for Submission:
• Full session must be submitted and must all come from the same session to be considered. Galleries with less than 40 images won’t be considered.
• Be sure to label your image folder with your business name.
• If you have submitted your session to another blog but have not heard back on that submission, please do not send till you hear back from the other publication.
• To increase your chances of approval include a variety of images, including detail shots when fitting.
• There must be a session story submitted with images. Story must included a minimum of 200 words to be considered. Stories given by the individuals in the session will be considered.
• The time frame for approval is generally 3 – 4 weeks. All submissions will receive a letter of either acceptance or denial. If your session is denied please do not let this discourage you to try again. Please keep in mind as well, the blog features a variety of sessions and tries to balance out those that are viewed.
• Features keep with the current seasons, as best as possible.
• Be sure to have images re-sized to 2000 width, with no watermarks on your images.
• If you used any vendors, please include their information, and site links so proper credit can be given. Beyond the Wanderlust is not responsible for looking up such pieces of information and won’t be held liable for any agreements to share such links for features of third party vendors.
For Daily Fan Favorite and The Daily Story
These spots are available to all fans of Beyond the Wanderlust. In order to be in the running for one of these spots be sure to submit your favorite work to the blog’s Facebook wall, watermarked and tagging your business.
Daily Fan Favorites are done Monday through Thursday. Three images, chosen by Jessica, are voted on by their peers and the winner is determined by the image with the most likes, shares and comments. Each of these images from the Daily Fan Favorite are blogged with words from Jessica explaining why it was inspiring.
The Daily Story is a collection of images that capture the emotion of storytelling. These features run daily.
