Woodsy Texas Maternity: The Engles’s Story in Kortney’s words:
“The Engles are expecting their very first child in just 4 weeks. They are having a boy, Sawyer Neal. For their maternity session they wanted it to be outdoorsy to go along with their nursery theme. They included a sign with Sawyers name written with deer antlers, that are nailed to a piece of wood that has been in their family for so many years. That piece of wood goes all the way back to their great great grandfather. It was so sweet to include something so special.”

Kortney’s Photography Journey:
“My name is Kortney. I am a wife, student, and photographer. Photography has always been a passion of mine, whether it was on a cell phone or a small point-and-shoot, I loved doing it! When I bought my first “fancy” camera freshmen year of college I would beg all my friends to be models for me around campus. I knew I enjoyed it so much that I could make this my job and it wouldn’t even feel like a job.
A turning point in my photography was 2 years ago when I married the most wonderful man I’ve ever met. It was definitely a life changing moment. At that moment I knew I wanted to be a wedding photographer. I do not know what I would’ve done if I did not have photos from my wedding day. And not just any photos, but beautiful photos.
What I seek to do is capture my couples on their wedding day, one of the best days of their lives. They will not have to ever worry about missing those sweet little moments each minute of their wedding day. I create lasting photos that hold the same emotion that day held.”
